BC Juniors enjoyed their most successful night in recent memory - 4 first place finishes in a magical night. Sebastien Boissonneault and Tanner Mattson storm back, down 12-4 in the second game, after taking it on the chin in the first - to take game two and then the tie-breaker, 11-7 against Jamie Slamko and Kevin Caouette of Alberta in 18-under doubles. Earlier in the evening, Sivan Dinur and Chloe Chong, in their first nationals as a doubles team, won first in 14-under girls; the team of Anthony Schonberger and Siddhant Agrawal maintained their first seed right through the final to win 14-under boys, as did Connor Culhane and Nicholas Leung in the 12-under boys doubles. — 40 points in doubles for BC!!!!

Thanks to Neil, Tom, Collin and everyone involved in hosting the Victoria Open. It was a great event and my two boys are charged up to join me at next year’s event again. A fitting tribute to Tony Eng and on behalf of the juniors and their families, thank you for the support you showed and gave to each of us.
